COVID-19 Precautions

The following are some of the precautions we will follow to ensure your child’s health and safety.

Sign –In:  Parents are not allowed to enter the classroom.  Body temperatures will be taken at the front door, after which the children immediately will wash their hands before going into the classroom.

Social Distancing:  Distancing of 6 feet is not required for preschool children. Staff are required to wear masks. Masks are optional for the children. During group time, children may be asked to wear a mask.  When seated at tables for snack or art projects, children will be seated at every other chair.

Coat Hooks: Children’s coats, tote bags, etc., will be kept separately and not hung or placed next to another child’s. Personal items will be hung on every other hook.

Individual Containers:  Each child will provide their own shoebox-size container to hold their own markers, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, paint brushes, and playdough.

Class Size: Limited to 10.  Children in the classroom will be allowed to interact with each other through play, toy sharing, and other activities. Preschool items will be cleaned at the end of each day.

Air Circulation: – Windows will be open and ceiling fans will be used to circulate the air within the classroom.

Outdoor Playground Equipment: – Will be cleaned daily.
